these are my cosmic beacons inspired by the Hubble photographs from space
The space ships are now sporting their new blue exteriors
It all began when i started working on hand made paper ,using turner gouache. i started a series based on ; Color landscape and abstraction. Location was important, (thinking i would like to remember where i was when i painted it, so i integrated the zip code into the titles of the work following my bright landscape series. These were in my first solo gallery show in la. (James tercotte)
I stopped using the zip codes when the show 90210 began.
Since they are bringing the Show back so I am doing a series of paintings titled with just zip codes. Have a favorite zip-code? Let me know, I may use it for one of my painting titles.
