a futurist idea comes out
when i was growing up the airlines were giving decks of cards to passengers when they traveled to use on board.
now we will be traveling through space so my deck of drawings can go..... into space.
I will be long gone by then but it would be my dream to be taken into space as a deck of drawings. I wanted to be an astronaut artist but there was no such thing.
The rocket ship comes from my last solo show rockets magnets and cards (new rocket is blue)
decks come in :
12 drawings 18drawings and 84drawings
so far i have used over 500 cards to create this drawing series, I am set to use 1500 cards
going forward. i will be doing pop up shows starting in march
